What a business CCTV survey covers
CCTV for a business is only as useful as the places it can actually see. A survey looks at how people move through the premises: the door customers use, the counter, the stock room, the yard if there is one, and any blind corners you already know about.
We also talk about recording. Footage that cannot be found when you need it is little better than no camera. Storage, how long you need to keep clips, and whether you want to check the premises from a phone are part of that conversation — and they depend on the network on site.
Cameras do not make a business completely safe. They help you see what happened and deter some problems. That limit should be said plainly before anyone drills a wall.
If you already have cameras, bring that up. An upgrade is often a mix of keeping what still works, replacing what does not, and aiming the new coverage where it counts.
After installation we walk a named person through basic viewing and playback. Extra cameras, repairs or scheduled checks can be arranged where they are contracted.
